REMINDER TO SUBMIT BASELINE DATA ON EDUCATION MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (EMIS)
The Ministry of Education and Sports rolled out the revamped Education
Management Information System (EMIS) last academic year (2022) and schools were expected to continue capturing learners' data in Term One and Term Two of 2023. While I extend my gratitude to schools that were able to update the status of their learners, I have observed that a number of schools that captured data in 2022 have not updated the status of their learners in academic year 2023 creating an impression that those leamers dropped out of school.
