UNEB Amendments 2024

Dear Parents ,


The Uganda National Examinations Board informs candidates who have errors on their PLE/ UCE result slips to go to UNEB for correction before registering for the next level of exams.
Students are encouraged to come along with the following requirements for each amendment.

DATE OF BIRTH
_Requirements_
1. Official letter from school requesting for correction of error.
2. Original and copy of result slip with error.
3. Original and copy of birth certificate or national Identity card.
4. A fee of UGX. 53,000 (fifty-three thousand shillings only).

NAME SPELLING
_Requirements_
1. Official letter from school requesting for correction of error.
2. Original and copy of result slip with error.
3. A fee of UGX. 53,000 (fifty-three thousand shillings only).

WRONG GENDER
_Requirements_
1. Official letter from school requesting for correction of error.
2. Original and copy of result slip with error.
3. A fee of UGX. 53,000 (fifty-three thousand shillings only).

My name is katongole eram but during my ple my surname was written katongore. Is it possible to change this to katongole yet i am in senior six?

Yes, this is exactly what UNEB announced.. but unfortunately, this exercise was meant to be concluded by 31/03/2024.

Technically, with the right software, you definitely can!
However, I'd strongly discourage you from doing so, especially if you are planning to submit these altered documents to any institution, because you could end up being penalized for forgery.
Therefore, I'd recommend that you reach out to someone in the country to assist you with rectifying your date of birth through the official means, or just stick with it.

Would I be able to correct a wrong date of birth on both o’level and A’level passlips after more than a year? Provided I have legal documents to support my changes.

I have a wrong date of birth on my uneb certificate can I still go and apply for correction. If not when is it possible again
